About us

Since 1993, LifeCare has been serving women, men, and their families. We’re a non-profit, privately funded community pregnancy and family resource center in compliance with federal and state laws. We serve the Ottawa area and are staffed by client advocates and medical professionals who are here to listen, provide the facts, and share information to help families make informed decisions about their health and future. All consultations and services are confidential and free.

Many of the women and men we serve are at a crossroads in their lives due to an unplanned pregnancy. They face one of the most important decisions about life at a time when they feel theirs is unraveling. Many women and men feel afraid, overwhelmed, and confused. At Lifecare, we understand and respect each client’s right to make their own decisions. Although we don’t refer or provide abortion services, we provide a safe and non-judgmental place to talk, explore options, get help, and hear about the hope available to all of us for a better life.
